Electronics Technician

CO -Grand Junction and Brighton
Selected locations in South Texas and North Central Texas

Duties and Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on numerical control, computerized numerical control, precision, and conventional machine tools; gasoline, diesel, and battery operated vehicles; downhole drilling tools and motors; and other production equipment used in the development, manufacture, and testing of products. Areas of specialization may include: electrical, mechanical, vacuum, hydraulic, refrigeration, NC repair, and machine tool rebuilding; mobile equipment and electrical production equipment; positive displacement mud-motors, mud-operated pulsers, or downhole drilling tools. Use measuring instruments, diagnose, and make general repairs to production equipment. Determine replacement parts as needed. Perform limited welding, basic plumbing, and/or grinding activities. Work from prints and schematics. Prepare written reports describing equipment failures, suggested modifications, and environmental limitations of electronic equipment. Software competency must include Microsoft Excel and Windows NT. Both shop and field work will be required. Some on-call availability and shift work may be required. Preference will be given to applicants who have relevant training and experience. Graduation from a two year technical college in a related field or equivalent military experience is required. Skills are typically acquired through 2-3 years experience.

Salary Range: $35,000 to $50,000 plus great benefits
