Operator Assistant - Entry Level

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in rigging up and down of oil well service equipment, as well as assembly and preparation of equipment for installation and service. Also assist in the running of a job and in the clean-up, repair, and preparation for the next job. Promote and take an active part in the Quality Improvement Process. Ensure compliance with Health Safety and Environmental regulations and guidelines. Work under direct supervision, with no experience required. This is the entry level position into the service operator job family.

Salary Range: $35,000 to $50,000 plus great benefits

Diesel Mechanic

Location:
Wyoming -Rock Springs, Casper
Utah –Vernal

Duties and Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain trucks, automobiles, diesel engines, pumping equipment, and a variety of other service equipment. Install specified new and reconditioned parts and/or make required adjustments. Perform state and DOT annual inspections. Must be able to disassemble and reassemble engines and mechanical units to inspect parts and defects. Must be able to perform all phases of mechanical repairs. Both shop and field work will be required. Shift work and on-call availability is required. Requires high school diploma, GED, or Equivalent. Technical maintenance experience is preferred. Requires a CDL or the ability to obtain one. Must comply with all government related and company requirements (i.e. Government CDL, DOT, OSHA, and TCM related training).

Electronics Technician

Location:
WY –Rock Springs
CO – Grand Junction and Brighton
Selected locations in South Texas and North Central Texas

Duties and Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on numerical control, computerized numerical control, precision, and conventional machine tools; gasoline, diesel, and battery operated vehicles; downhole drilling tools and motors; and other production equipment used in the development, manufacture, and testing of products. Areas of specialization may include: electrical, mechanical, vacuum, hydraulic, refrigeration, NC repair, and machine tool rebuilding; mobile equipment and electrical production equipment; positive displacement mud-motors, mud-operated pulsers, or downhole drilling tools. Use measuring instruments, diagnose, and make general repairs to production equipment. Determine replacement parts as needed. Perform limited welding, basic plumbing, and/or grinding activities. Work from prints and schematics. Prepare written reports describing equipment failures, suggested modifications, and environmental limitations of electronic equipment. Software competency must include Microsoft Excel and Windows NT. Both shop and field work will be required. Some on-call availability and shift work may be required. Preference will be given to applicants that have relevant training and experience. Graduation from a two year technical college in a related field or equivalent military experience is required.
Skills are typically acquired through 2-3 years experience.
